Registry clean free of error and unnecessary entries is a must in your day-by-day activity on your computer. Well, maybe not day by day, but once a week, you must do it… I mean to clean your mess on your PC. Otherwise you will start to wonder why is working so slow.

What is a registry and registry cleaner?

Keeping your computer registry clean free is an important part of owning a PC. A registry is a pretty important database of your Windows computer and you need a registry cleaner in order to keep it free of unwanted bugs, errors and viruses’ entries in the Windows operating system.

Why you need registry cleaners

All Microsoft Windows operating systems have registries to keep your system well organized. In time, that order start to look more like a chaos, especially when the user is a novice in computers and is installing and downloading files, applications, toolbars and add-ons chaotically. Even if you have good intentions and from time to time you uninstall applications, or you even defragment your hard drive, or even if you have an antivirus and you are scanning and removing viruses from your PC… still a problem remain unsolved. Somebody have to clean registry and if you don’t intend to do that manually (which is not recommended) you have to use a special software to registry clean free.

Problems with the Windows registry are a common cause of crashes and errors. If your Windows installation is more than 30 days old, it’s good to have a registry optimizer and privacy maintaining software. It is because of invalid shortcuts and irregularities in the registry that cause the PC to no longer work correctly like it did when it was new. As I said before, it is possible to edit the registry manually, but if you don’t know what you are doing, it can be a daunting task. So the next best thing is a registry cleaner.

  • Some of the advantages of registry cleaners

Registry clean free optimizers provide a powerful cleaning tool that edits and scans the registry within seconds. By using a registry cleaner or repair program, you can edit and repair your registry very easily. It will increase your PCs performance and get rid of unwanted viruses entries, bugs and errors. Careful, this does not replace an anti-virus! To make long story short: anti-viruses remove viruses and clear infected files, registry application clear your registry and speed up your PC.

There are a number of cleaners (some free), that offer system store and backup facilities that allows the user to revert changes. The cleaner scans the registry and gives you a full report about the bugs and errors on your Windows computer. You can also delete invalid shortcuts and other unwanted things from your Windows system on your choice or leave the application to delete them all (recommended). Don’t forget to scan your Windows weekly with a registry clean free application to make sure there are no bugs that could be affecting your computer.

  • Some of the disadvantages of registry cleaners

There is just one in fact. After a complete scan and fix, sometimes applications that run on your pc may not work anymore and you have to reinstall them. Don’t go too far thinking that nothing will work anymore. Is just that on very rare occasion, on some applications (especially those that verify license on internet every time you open the software) you may need to reinstall it. Why? Because some entry from your registry has been deleted by the cleaner and it was somehow considered corrupted and full of errors. However, that application still needs that deleted entry. You can go back and use your cleaner backup and restore registry or re-install that specific software (recommended).

I repeat this will not happen all the time. You may never have the”chance” to see this problem ever, especially if you use a responsible cleaner and not a free one.
